Okay.. so, I found a solution.
As stupid as it may sound I just needed to clear CMOS.
Apparently, just removing the battery wasn't enough, so I used the jumpers,
following the instructions on the manual. Voila!
The version is 23.1 btw.
Now I must pass ...
