This is my preferred method.
Use MSI Burn recovery, and make backup DVD's of your system.
Remove HDD from laptop.
Install mSATA SSD (I'm assuming you want to retain the normal HDD as well...)
Use the Recovery DVD's to install the system on to the SSD.
