msi gtx 980 4g: can boost be disabled?

Hello,

I'm having a problem in games where the gpu isn't pushed much past 50% most of the time.  Specifically diablo 3.  The GPU drops it's clocks for a short time.  Other forum postings have stated that this is the GPU adjusting for the usage.
